The Aparador (shop window) is a space for producing and spreading visual arts, an opening for the interdisciplinary nature of the language of emerging artists. Located on one side of the Museum, looking out on to Angel Guimerà Street, the Aparador is a long space with a great diaphanous pane of glass, just like a shop window. The aim is to provoke a new relationship between the artist, his work and the spectator, based on proposals presented by the Museum to the outside world, and viceversa. With the purpose of infiltrating themselves into the path of the pedestrians, the artists use all the resources imaginable advertising, media to make their proposals known, and integrate them into people's everyday lives as they go along the street. |
