Museum

The Joan Abelló Museum is located in a modernist building, constructed in 1908 and renovated in the 90s, when it was converted into a modern, functional space.
Inaugurated on the 29th March,1999, it houses part of the fund of the Joan Abelló collection which he donated to the town of Mollet.

The Museum is arranged on three floors and a basement. The first and second floors house the permanent collection and the ground floor holds a temporary exhibition room and the space for the Aparador. The basement is set aside for courses, conferences and small exhibitions, and has a decorated, conditioned room where a didactic audio-visual show on the figure of Joan Abelló is presented.

The Museum also has a rest area for visitors, a shop and a reception service.
